Individual Counseling

No matter what your nutrition and health goals are, I know finding a place to start isn't easy. My mission is to make sure that place is safe, non-judgmental, and starts where you are today.

During your sessions, I'll take the time to get to know you and your relationship with food and nutrition, lifestyle patterns, overall health and past medical history, and the best way to support you in meeting your goals. Because I believe accountability and consistency are keys to making real change, I'll continue to support you through follow-up sessions and virtual check-ins that fit your schedule.

Let's get started!

What to expect.

Our first meeting will be a 60-minute Initial Assessment. During our hour together, I'll provide:

  • Comprehensive nutrition, diet, and health assessment

  • Food journal analysis (optional)

  • Personalized nutrition plan, including suggestions for meal planning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping

  • In-depth nutrition education for medically-prescribed diets for the conditions listed here

  • Tailored support for behavior modification, lifestyle change, and physical activity

  • Expert recommendation for supplements (as requested or when applicable)

  • Strategize with goal setting and accountability planning

  • Post-session Visit Summary with reference material and resources

  • Unlimited Meantime Support for up to 1 month between follow-up visits

After our Initial Assessment, we'll meet regularly for your 30-minute Follow-up Sessions. During each session, we'll:

  • Review your previous session's goal setting and progress

  • Review your food journal (optional)

  • Review changes in weight, body measurements, and/or any available labs (optional)

  • Nutrition and lifestyle plan adjustments (as necessary)

  • Goal-setting

  • Post-session Visit Summary with reference material and resources

Meantime Support.

I want to make sure you feel confident between your visits. Hello, Meantime Support! Interact with me through your Healthie account to get expert nutrition advice at your fingertips, all included with your package.

Quick checks

Whether you want me to review a restaurant menu, feel like bragging about a big win, or want to troubleshoot an upcoming event, I want to hear from you. Send me a message to talk it out. And no worries - messaging with me through your Healthie account is always secure and private.

SNACK CHATS

If your friends and family sick of you sending selfies of your plate, I'll take it! Snap me a picture of your meal or snack and I'll send back real-time feedback on nutritional quality, portion size, and anything else you'd like. I'm also here to help decipher nutrition labels and other tricky packaging questions.

Packages and Pricing.

Individual Counseling is offered in packages of 3, 5, and 7 sessions (including your Initial Assessment). After you've completed your package (congrats!), I offer additional follow-up sessions for when you'd like to check in. Need to reset? Feel free to book another package and we'll start fresh.

Payment can be made via major credit or debit cards when booking your appointment. Cash/check payment options also available. I am able to accept FSA or HSA if your goals of working together are related to a diagnosed medical condition, such as heart disease or diabetes. To be eligible for FSA/HSA payment, you will need to submit a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your doctor with a receipt of your services to your plan administration. This has to be completed by a physician and it must outline the specific medical diagnosis and how consulting a dietitian is necessary to treat it and how long treatment will last. All plans are different, so please check with yours to see if my services are covered or not.

Unfortunately, I do not accept other health insurance insurance at this time. While I expect to have this ability in the near future, I am able to provide you with a Superbill. A Superbill is a form that I generate that you may send to your insurance company for possible reimbursement for your visit. Please ask for details if you are interested.

Cancellation Policy

All appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled, but I ask for notice at least 24 hours in advance. Appointment changes and cancellations that are made within 24 hours of your session will result in a fee of 100% of the price of the session. No-show visits will also result in a fee of 100% of the price of the missed visit. The credit or debit card used to book your sessions will be automatically charged in this event. This policy is subject to change at the provider’s discretion.

If you are thinking of another way I can help support you in between visits, I'd love to hear about it!
